Historic Preservation Building

This month in conjunction with the Historic Preservation Commission, we are featuring:



Fabrizio House
557 Jefferson Avenue

Mike and Joe Fabrizio and John Kokenka built the wood and stone bungalow circa 1954. The property was purchased in 1966 by Josephine Milano, from an old Louisville family.

Winterskate is Open!
Boasting over 6,500 square feet of ice, WinterSkate is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in the county! Looking forward to freezing on the ice with the kiddos!

Louisville Cultural Council Events

January 15th is the Louisville Cultural Council Art Grant Deadline
Artists and organizations may apply for up to $1,500 in funding to support arts projects in Louisville in the coming year. Application available at www.louisvilleco.gov/artgrant.

ZooperHeroes: The Denver Zoo comes to Louisville

The Louisville Cultural Council will bring the Denver Zoo to visit the Louisville Center for the Arts with a 45-minute FREE program for all ages, preschool-adult. No tickets or advance registration. Doors open at 2:30 pm. Learn more.

Calling all Shutterbugs!

January 18th is the Life in Louisville Photography Contest Deadline
The City of Louisville sponsors this annual competition for student, amateur and professional photographers alike to show off their skills, while helping the City collect vibrant, slice-of-life images that capture the essence of “Life in Louisville.” All photos must be original and must have been taken between Janury 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. The entry deadline is 5:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2019. Application and more info at www.louisvilleco.gov/lifeinlouisville.

Attention young actors! CenterStage Theatre is looking for actors/singers for Little Women, the Musical. Auditions are open for ages 14-21. Produced nationally and internationally, Little Women has been praised by critics for its ambition in adapting such a well-known story for the stage. In the Trenches: a Parenting Musical – Staged Reading

CenterStage Theatre Company and 19K Productions, LLC are pleased to announce a staged reading of In The Trenches, a new musical comedy about the hilarious, touching, and messy moments involved in parenting young children. The show features a series of musical vignettes that follows a family and their friends through their journey to understanding post-baby life.
