This holiday fundraiser includes a private showing of the frequently sold-out play, Santaland Diaries written by David Sedaris by the Boulder Ensemble Theater Company. Afterward there will be food, drinks, live music with Jon Sousa and a Silent Auction of locally donated items. ITEA runs a non-profit clinic in Louisville that provides a free acupuncture clinic for Veterans and their families, as well as reduced-cost treatments for students and Veterans with Classical Five Element Acupuncture. Hosted by the Louisville Cultural Center, this day for the kids is devoted to dinosaurs. Who doesn’t like a good dinosaur, after all? Events include a reading of Snowmastodon! Snow Day Adventure by Colorado author Aimee White Beazley, a DINO-MAZING presentation all about the world’s coolest creatures by paleontologist Tara Lepore of CU’s Museum of Natural History, and a STEG-A-RIFFIC art project led by local arts organization The Art Underground.

Moors and McCumber

James Moors and Kort McCumber have been performing and writing together since 2005. Their magic folk style combines great vocals with acoustic guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, bass, cello, dobro and a bunch of other instruments we don’t have room for.

Chef Zak Tadlaoui (former owner of Kasbah) along with Executive Chef’s Rita and Rafih Bennjelloun (founder of Mattam Fez in 1975 and current owners of Imperial Fez in Atlanta, GA) offer a unique culinary and dining experience to be enjoyed for a special occasion or simply a great meal.

The restaurant serves Mediterranean tapas for lunch (Monday – Friday 11am to 2:30 pm), and a great authentic Moroccan dinner and show (7 nights a week from 5 to 10 pm). There’s also a late night happy hour (Thursday – Saturday 10 pm to midnight). Go and enjoy. And don’t forget your shoes on the way out.
